I'm Celia, a Senior Consultant with Buro Happold's Sustainability and Physics team, currently doing a very interesting research project out in Bangladesh.

WaterAid are an international NGO dedicated exclusively to the provision of safe domestic water, sanitation and hygiene education to the world's poorest people. We are working with their Bangladesh office for this project.
Practical Action works with communities to find practical solutions to the poverty they face. Technology has a vital role to play in building livelihoods - and technology can include physical infrastructure, machinery and equipment, but also knowledge, skills and the capacity to organise and use all of these.
Simavi implements programma's that are aimed at prevention of disseases and better care for pregnant women and mothers in Sub-Sahara Africa and South-Asia. Simavi are providing financial assistance for the project.
Dedicated to saving lives, icddr,b is an international health research organisation located in Bangladesh. Through translation of research into treatment, training and policy advocacy icddr,b addresses some of the most critical health concerns facing the world today.
